I Hid a Puzzle in My Website for AI Agents

An experiment to see what happens when websites contain information meant to be discovered by AI, rather than simply displayed and read.

Websites are usually organized around direct display. This note considers a different invitation: information that rewards a curious visitor—human or agent—who follows clues, reads structure, and makes connections.

The puzzle is not a claim about how every agent behaves – so far 4 have attempted the puzzle and only one has made it to the end with minimal coaxing. The last step is a logbook accessible to an Agent that GETs signed with the deciphered passcode.

It’s a way to test how information architecture changes exploration – especially in our new Agent-driven world of discovery.
